Tranparency Card Class

by Elizabeth Wickland

Thank you to all who came to the class tonight! It was so nice to see fresh faces and to get to know some of you a little better! I hope you had a wonderful time, too. I loved seeing how you adapted the cards to your own style, including turning some of them on end. You inspired me and each other - thank you! Here are the pictures of each card for your reference. Feel free to print them out and use them as inspiration for more transparency cards! Try using different transparencies and papers to make similar cards. I know Rosie is planning to stamp her own transparencies to use. Let us know how they turn out!

Stop by Keepsakes, they have pre-made, unstamped Acetate cards by Hero Arts.

Hi Elizabeth!

Thanks so much for putting on such a fun class last week. I always enjoy learning a new technique to incorporate into my card-making hobby. I think you did an excellent, thorough job of teaching the class. You made us feel relaxed, and made the class enjoyable. Thanks, too, for letting us sneak out to see the eclipse!
Sincerely, Susan

Hi, Elizabeth

The hearts on Card #2 are continuing to "crackle", and I love the "olde colonial" look! My first time with UTEE.

Using PRE-printed acetate and the bar punch was fun. I've been inspired to use white-on-acetate over pink CS with white cotton lace for a soft, Spring look.

Can't wait to see what you come up with for Spring quarter ...

THANKS, Margo
